Transformation of CIELAB colour codes of standard TV colours to the digital codes olv*, cmy* and sRGB

Test intention for colour codes:

The CIELAB data of the television colour space (compare DIS ISO/IEC 19839-1:2000-04, Table 9 and 10) are used to transfer to the colour codes of different colour spaces. The sRGB codes are in general incompatible with the CIELAB codes, e. g. a colour with the code 0.5 between 0 and 1 for black and red (Table 1) or between 0 and 1 for white and red (Table 2) is not in the middle in the sRGB space and there are secondary values instead of 0. If the CIELAB colour data are used for the calculations then only the olv* and cmy* colour codes show the intended values.

In Table 1 the standard TV colours are modified to produce colours of equal blackness 0, 25, 50, and 75% (n*=0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75)

In Table 2 the standard TV colours are modified to produce colours of equal whiteness 0, 25, 50, and 75% (w*=0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75)

The different colour codes are important for colour management.
