For this page without
and with MTL code (N and F file) for OL with CIELAB data of surface colours
for different devices:
L=Linear, see DE95L in English and
DG95L in German,
S=Square root, see DE95S in English and
DG95S in German,
Q=Quadratic, see DE95Q in English and
DG95Q in German,
printer F, see DE95F in English and
DG95F in German,
printer O, see DE95O in English and
DG95O in German,
printer T, see DE95T in English and
DG95T in German.
Fig. 1: Output layout without the MTL code in the N-File (N = No MTL code in the file), see
L95E00N1.PS / TXT
/ JPG / PDF
Fig. 2: Output layout with MTL code of example CIELAB output data
of the device L (L=Linear) in the F-File (F = MTL code in the File), see
L95E00F1.PS / TXT
/ JPG / PDF
Remark: In Fig. 2 the output of the grey series in row 4 and 8 is identical and defined by the same grey output PS operator used in the MTL code. In Fig. 1 the output of the two grey series in row 4 and 8 may be different, because two different input PS operators are used in the N-file.
Remark 1: The files of the tables 1 to 3 include the CIELAB data for the output linearisation of one device. This device is either one of the model devices L (=Linear), S (=Square Root), and Q (=Quadratic) or one of the real printer devices F, O, and T.

*) Please transfer e. g. the PDF file L95E00SP.PS with the file L95E00SP.DAT in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory, which uses the parameter i*ptrsc=0. Then this PDF-file produces the same output ans the file L95E00FP.PDF of the Table 2. All L..SP files of the Table 3 are distilled here with only the default file Example.ps in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory.
Remark: With the files of Table 3 it is intended to produce only a PDF output with linearisation data in the Distiller Startup (S) Directory and not a PS output.
